The way my 2008 Honda Ruckus looked when I bought it. Stock, black on black. Here she is pictured with her older sister, a Right Hand Drive Honda CRX Glasstop.
My very first "mod" on the Honda Ruckus! The JDM version, known as the "Zoomer" does not have the horn on the outside like ours do. Theirs is mounted just inside the battery box. In fact, if you remove the headlight bracket and front half of the battery box, you will see a bolt hole in there JUST FOR THE HORN! It's almost like it was meant to be.
This is after I ditched the stock headlights. Re-located the front blinkers to the side of the battery box. Removed the floor pan and trimmed the plastic that is under the gas tank.
Yamaha R6 taillight. PasswordJDM plate re-locator.
Man, look at how high that seat is! Something has to be done here.......

Lowered seat. PasswordJDM radiator cover. Foot bars. Coolant bottle.
Installed a 6" ATR extension. Re-worked some of the wiring to suit my needs. Changed out my roller weights. Now, just waiting for my parts that are being painted to come back in time for the show!
At the "God's Country Racing Association" Car show supporting our painter, Liquid Dimension Imaging. To my knowledge, she is the ONLY Multicam Ruckus anywhere.
Here she sits next to a stocker. 2010.
2013 has brought some new ideas for the Ruckus!
This little guy, in case you don't know what it is, is called a P.A.I.R. valve by Honda. It mounts on your engine block, has a nipple on it (that is already shaved off in this pic) and a hose that connects to your stock air box. In our airbox delete write up, we explain a couple options for this little fella including a link to the write up for doing the PAIR delete like I have started to do here.

So 2013 will mark the beginning of a color change for the Ruckus. It's going to be a blue bike, with green accessories and accents. You can see the PAIR valve in blue, just in front of the CVT cover (the big blue object in the picture). The CVT cover, at this point, has been modified to help keep all components cooler, and it looks pretty kick ass going down the road. The front of the cover is custom drilled to allow cool air in, and the clutch area of the cover was cut out to allow the passing of cool air in, and out. This left me with a few opportunities for custom color combos and possible lighting.
Spring 2014 brought some new issues to the table. Took it out for it's first ride of the year and had some idle issues. Well, it would idle but once you give it any throttle it would die out. So, ordered a few items and will be replacing them one piece at a time: Fuel Filter, Spark Plug, Carb gaskets, and jets. I'll start with fuel filter. Then move onto spark plug. Then, no matter what happens, I plan to remove the carb and give it a good cleaning. 2008 ruck and it's never been cleaned. Once that is done, I'll re-jet and ride to victory!!
